Drafting

Drafting that starts from your instructions.

No rigid document menu. Tell Zealia what you need — an application, a demand letter, a witness statement, a section you are stuck on — and edit the result like a document, not a chat reply.

Drafts follow the forms and conventions of your own court, in your own wording.

Free-form instructions, real editing

You describe the document in your own words, with as much or as little detail as you have. Attach the matter and Zealia works from the parties, the posture and the documents already on file, so the first draft is about your case rather than a generic template.

What comes back opens in a full editor: headings, numbered paragraphs, tables, quotes, alignment, and the formatting the draft was generated with — centred captions and titles, justified body text — preserved rather than flattened to the left margin.

Highlight any passage and ask for it to be rewritten — shorter, firmer, more formal, or restructured. A version is saved before the change, so you can always go back.

Inside the editor

Highlight a passage, say how it should change, and keep the version you had before.

From research to filed document

Drafting sits next to the rest of the workspace. Research an issue, keep the authorities, then open a draft that already knows the matter. Start with the research side or see how case analysis feeds a draft.

Common questions

What can Zealia draft?
Anything you can describe: pleadings, motions, applications, briefs, witness statements, demand letters, submissions or a single paragraph you are stuck on. There is no fixed document menu — you write the instruction in your own words.
Can I edit the draft afterwards?
Yes. Every draft opens in a full rich-text editor with headings, numbered paragraphs, tables, quotes, alignment, font and spacing controls, autosave, version history and export.
Can Zealia rewrite only part of a draft?
Yes. Highlight a passage and say how it should change — shorter, firmer, more formal, restructured — and only that passage is replaced. A version is saved before the change so you can go back.
Does the draft know the facts of my matter?
When you attach a matter, the draft works from the parties, the posture and the documents already in that matter's vault, so the first draft is about your case rather than a generic template.
How much does a draft cost?
Generating a draft costs 6 credits. Editing, versioning and exporting the document afterwards costs nothing.
